Guided Foraging Walk - Saturday 19th July
A guided foraging walk at Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve beginning at 11am on Saturday 19th July.
This will be led by Beth and Jo.
No prior knowledge of foraging is required, whether you are a beginner or an expert, everyone is welcome.
The first walk of the year should be purchased at full price. A code will be emailed to you to redeem against multiple walks this year.
If you wish to purchase more than one ticket for an event, you will have to process these as separate transactions, as each will send their own confirmation email and order number.
The walk will last approximately 2 hours and during that time you will gain the following knowledge on 5 common rabbit-friendly plants.
- How to identify the plants
- How to collect the plants safely
- How to store the plants
- How to dry the plants
- When and how much to feed to your rabbits
All you will need is yourself, some secateurs or strong scissors, a bag, gloves, and water/suncream/wellies (depending on the weather).
Unfortunately due to the off road terrain this event is unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility.
