Oreo, Brun0 & Friends

Jim & Tigger

Pirate, Zephyr and Sailor

This dynamic trio were part of multiple accidental litters who were thankfully handed over to Ivy Dene from appalling conditions. They are believed to be the siblings/parents of sanctuary rabbit Guppy. This trio were very lucky to land themselves a wonderful forever home in the perfect interactive outdoor set-up. They have grown in confidence and have many adventures together!

Dove & Wren

Dove (was originally named Evie) and Wren were part of our December 2021 litter after their Mum was surrendered to us heavily pregnant.

They’re sisters and have been best friends since day one so it’s lovely to see them together living their best lives in their luxurious outdoor bunnery.

Tinker, Ghost & Rupert

Tinker and Ghost were part of the first group of rabbits who came into the rescue. It was easy to fall in love with them, especially Tinker who is the naughtiest, most mischievous bun we have ever met! They found their perfect home together with an older boy Rupert, who now shares his big Victorian house with these two crazy girls, free roaming in masses of space and having all the best adventures. They bring out the best in Rupert, giving him a new lease of life as his young and cheeky companions, while they get all of the love and attention from their wonderful humans.

Brienne & Elton 2.jpg

Brienne & Elton

Brienne and Elton were part of the biggest and most difficult rescue we have done. It was an undercover mission to get 18 rabbits out of appalling conditions where they were going to be shot the following day. Brienne suffered the most from her neglect and mistreatment, taking months of patience to build her trust, but eventually she began to come out of her shell. Elton went straight to one of our wonderful foster homes where he settled very quickly, and it soon became obvious that he had found himself a forever home. He of course needed a friend, Brienne bonded with him perfectly and they were very much in love.

Unfortunately, the awful conditions they were rescued from caught up with Elton, and he sadly passed away a few months after he was bonded with Brienne. He was surrounded by love, and will be sorely missed by all involved in his rescue. Brienne will be given time to grieve, and then will hopefully find new love in the future.

Mae, Harriet & Friends

Mae was a resident of Ivy Dene for over a year due to her health condition Rabbit Megacolon Syndrome. She was adopted to a member of the Ivy Dene team to live out her days as a spoiled house rabbit with plenty of room to explore and a lovely group of friends to snuggle with. Her companions Pip and Maggie are also susceptible to Megacolon symptoms due to their breed so their guardian ensures a careful forage-based diet and thankfully they are thriving. Harriet was also an Ivy Dene bunny who was found as a stray and she is enjoying life with her new pals.

The Fire Brothers

Blaze, Spark, Flame and Ember were surrendered to the rescue as an accidental litter and spent a long time in foster care waiting for their perfect home. They are full of energy and fun and we are delighted they were rehomed together. They live happily in their custom-built shed and aviary called “The Fireplace” and we enjoy hearing of their mischief!

Bambi, MOKI & FAWN

These wonderful brothers have always stolen the heart of everyone who has met them, and were in rescue for over a year. They came to us as babies, as we have loved watching them grow and their personalities develop. We were so happy when the perfect family came along to give them their forever home in a custom built, huge enclosure full of enrichment and toys to keep them out of too much mischief.

Grayson & Scooby

Grayson came just before Christmas from someone desperate to re-home to anyone. Once he arrived in rescue he proved to be very popular, and Scooby was the lucky bun to have him as his best friend. It was love at first sight and the two boys have been best friends ever since.

Lovely Domino had previously found love with Kya, but unfortunately she passed away (remember to check your carbon monoxide alarms everyone). Thankfully the beautiful Lily was waiting in the wings for him, and now this beautiful couple are finally settled in their forever home.

The Railway Trio

Mrs Viney, Dr Forest and Phyllis were named in rescue after characters from The Railway Children as they are related to Peter, Jim, Alby and Bobbie who were rescued from a railway dumping and a connected neglectful housing situation. Mrs Viney, Dr Forest and Phyllis are now comfortable and settled in an indoor home. It is always heart-warming when a trio finds a home together since they typically spend longer in rescue. We couldn’t be happier for them!
